since we've been treated to a free version of Site Designer (many thanks!!); and with Bootstrap being given a lot of "bad press" here on CC, thought I'd share an article (on Medium!) on why Bootstrap (Flexbox) is STILL better than CSS Grid:

and share my question
"Does Bootstrap still have much of a future at CC?"

Any layout is fine. It's looking into the future that is driving CSS grid. I built a few sites using Coffeegrinder and only started switching to Foundation because I had to pick one and I just seemed to like it better from the examples I was seeing. I have nothing against Boostrap but now I'm going to go with CSS Grid. Most of the traffic to my sites is mobile based. The one thing that's different about mobile devices from PC is that their OS get regular updates along with the browsers. I had a popup notice on one of my sites to warn off older browsers.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

true, there's a lot to be said for warning people to use latest versions of browsers, as much as possible, from a security viewpoint especially

For some reason I tend to go with what seems to have the most information available (Google). I really learned tons from all the info that Bootstrap 3 had layering the internet. At that time there was hardly anything you could come up with for examples on Foundation 5. That changed when Foundation 6 came out and the documentation was better but I would bet money on the Bootstrap community catching up pretty quick.

Its wonderful to see the new video tutorials Coffeecup has added as that will attract many newcomers. The marketing department is doing a Fab job !

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
