But what, if anything, does that mean for CC BB?
There's no timeframe for when, or if, the "changes" will be incorporated into BB, is there?

It will, of course, take the time it needs to get everything updated in the BS part of RSD and RBB. But since a lot of the changes are there already, it shouldn't take too long. But then again, it depends on how much other work they have at the beginning of their priority list.

any further word on when BB will be updated?

Some other builders were updated several days ago,
with some appealing new features

I noticed that there were new versions of RSD and RFF, but not RBB. I guess it will take longer to implement BS4.
