The question that I want to ask, and the question everybody else wants to ask is: what is the difference between Bootstrap Builder v Foundation Framer? Yes, I know they are based on two different frameworks, but why would you choose one over the other?

I've only started getting into Bootstrap within the last three months, so I'm really looking forward to Bootstrap Builder.

I know that RLMP had an option to base your site around Bootstrap 2, but nothing ever advanced from that. The fact that the soon to be released Bootstrap 4 is going to be supported within this app makes things very exciting!

There is a lot of debate online regarding which framework to use. But, one isn’t necessarily better than the other. They’re both awesome at building professional designs. It all just depends on your personal preference. In a coding environment, there are a lot of differences. For example, Bootstrap's predefined CSS tends to make sites look like they were made with Bootstrap, while Foundation is easier for customization. Bootstrap also uses pixels and Foundation uses rems. What's nice about working with these frameworks in the CoffeeCup environment, is that we make it easy to customize the CSS classes for unique looks. Plus, we lifted the unit limitations by incorporating the unit switcher.

Browser support differs too. For example, Foundation doesn’t support anything less than IE9, whereas Bootstrap supports IE8. Here are a few helpful articles that go into more detail on this great debate:

Thanks Suzanne and Steve — some excellent articles there.

Still think Bootstrap is the way to go due to its greater support. RSD and Foundation are good but I see little point in using them now that Bootstrap Builder is out.
