Adding a discussion page
I am managing the site: http://www.rascal.cc
On the site we would like to add a page for questions and answers so that members can go to the page, ask a question and get responses from other members. It would be similar to this forum where different topics can be posted with answers. Is this possible within VSD?
Thanks,
Galen

Wait for Eric to wake up
He may have a solution for you using the Web Form Builder.

This would need a substantial amount of outside scripting. The form builder could be used by either using your S-Drive stream and the guestbook toot or you could submit to mysql and use an iframe in VSD to display the data from a php script. There's plenty of other php scripts out there that could also do this type of thing and their called forums. Their easy to install but you can't use them on your S-drive account.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Try SMF Forums, that's a pretty good setup, easy to set up, and very customizable too. As Eric mentions though, you won't be able to install this or any other PHP based systems on S-Drive.
Thanks for those suggestions. We do not use S-Drive for hosting so maybe that will eliminate some problems. Since I am not a coder I will try whatever the easiest non-coding solution is, if there is one!
Thanks again,
Galen
