Anyone had a problem trying to use the Alignment tool (align to left, to right, top or bottom)? It comes up grayed out? It was working fine but now, all of a sudden, I can't align objects.

I am holding down shift and selecting two photos -- the photos are outlined with the blue box but the align objects options are grayed out.

I searched and found that someone had this problem earlier but I don't see where a solution was posted.

Also, how do you lasso objects?

Left click off the objects that you want to select and hold. Now drag your mouse over all the objects you want to move together. This will lasso the objects.

Wow -- lasso works great. I am going to try and reboot and see if that takes care of the grayed out problem.

Okay -- reboot did not help. The align option is working on all pages except my home page which is the page I was working on when the problem started.

Any ideas?

I did a ctrl + a and selected "group" and then a ctrl + a and "ungroup" and align started back working. I have no idea what is going on. Hope the problem does not come back.
