Change charset
Hi,
I need to change the charset to iso-8859-1.
Is it possible to do it without editing outside Visual Site Designer ?
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" >

No you can't do this inside the app. If you alter the page with an outside editor remember to keep track of your changes because if you publish through VSD the changes will be overwritten and you'll have to replace them.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Eric, (or anyone else who may know) question for you (since I don't code)...If you edit the 'header' in VSD you can add that line with the charset. But VSD will have the UTF-8 above that. Is there a problem with having both in there? Would the second one over-rule the first? Or would it just create a conflict, or not work at all?

I didn't try to see what would happen. There's no telling what will happen as far as how a browser will render a page after you mess with those items. Any user doing so are on their own as it is taking their page way outside what it was originally designed for. If your going to that trouble you might as well create pages with VSD then bring them into the html editor and publish all the content through that.

Yep, just wondering. Kind of surprised there isn't a way to choose your charset in VSD. Hopefully there will be in the new responsive site builder. ( hint-hint y'all ).
