I've recreated the gallery from scratch 3 times. Deleted the old ones and just started over. I am going to clear out anything I can find related to Photo Gallery software and files on this computer and reinstall. it may take awhile so I'm going to sign off for awhile. I have learned the platform so well I just can't get things to save correctly and the files that are suppose to be in certain place when i go to load onto my site just are not there. let me do another install and rebuild and I will give it another try. This is just killing me. i've been at this gallery for days.

Eric thank you for your help and we will talk later. If you do come up with suggestions I will keep checking here. later:)

Don't make a huge gallery until you get it working. Three images will be fine for testing. Saves a lot of time.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Scott I see You are online so maybe you can help with my inquiry. I have cleared out everything I could find on my computer that I know regarding Photo Gallery and then reinstalled it just now. When I do the reinstall I am not getting a completely new version that would show the theme page on the initial startup. I am getting a version with a number of my settings as I did them prior to uninstalling. How do I clear this completely off my computer before I reinstall. Any thoughts suggestions are really appreciated at this point. I just want to start fresh and see if that will clear up some of these save issues I am having.

Thank you

In VSD if you go to EDIT, remove files and remove the files this will get rid of everything related to the gallery (check not removing other flash installs)

What i do is i put a folder on my desctop for THIS NEW WEBSITE (signet rings)

Inside folder i have folder with images :: photogallery 1

and another folder :: SAVED PHOTOGALLERY 1 :: to put saved photogallery into

This is easier to follow as when you go to VSD :: EDIT :: FILES :: you have photogallery 1 files photogallery 2 files etc.

Also have you considered opening a new windows xp user account on you pc and using VSD & photogallery in that account incase you have a pc error causing an issue ????

Hi People,

Determined to get this Photo Gallery to work today. Where I'm at. I created a trial gallery to see what happens.

First of all I found out why my Photo Gallery Files were not ending up with the rest of my website files in the same area. More on that after I see if this works or not, no jinxing it.

I have not yet tried to upload the PG onto my site. My questions before I begin...

1. I see 3 files related to my PG 1st files is HTML Document 2nd is SWF - File 3rd is XML - Document When I put the flash icon on my site where I want to place the gallery which of the files should I open up?

2. Is that all of the files I am suppose to have regarding my PG? If not what am I missing?

Close to ready to go but I wait for any feedback. Eric?

Thank you again in advance

Hello People,

I was hoping to get some feedback as to what I'm doing wrong to get my photo gallery up on my website. I must be missing something in previous instructions given to me. I will outline where I am again.

1. Created my PG and saved it
2. Open VSD and go to the page I want to put the PG on
3. Click on the Flash Icon
4. Place The cursor on the page where I want gallery to be
5. A window opens with my files I choose the xml file
6. Then a big white window opens up within that window are smaller windows and they all believe say image not found.

This is where I have left off and not sure what to do to get this to work. Any help suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Thank You to all people on the forum I have successfully got my photo gallery on to VSB:):):):):) and now dancing, "Persistence Brings Roses" and it seems to work perfectly except for one little glitch which I'm sure can be corrected. I will get to that in a moment. It was two simple errors. Simple after the fact that is. Bruzer thank you for the video tutorial. That 2 minute video made me realize one of my errors. Again Thanks.

Now my little glitch. When I preview the PG in VSD I have a large white space to the right and bottom of the page. From the looks of it I'm assuming it is with PG not VSD to correct. I went through all the settings in PG but nothing is set to white to create this space. So I'm assuming, note assuming, That the way to correct this would be to expand background width and height in gallery settings to match the wesite page in VSD. I am right on this?

Bruzer in your video tutorial you had a problem similar but I couldn't catch how you went about correcting. Any help and thoughts welcomed and appreciated. Thought I would run this by the forum before I start changing things and take a chance of messing up this gallery

Thank you
