I'm going to try this again. I do not know how to get this photo gallery to work. I tried Scott's steps to up load it but no files pertaining to my gallery were in the xml folder when I opened the flash icon and placed it on my site. I went back to my photo gallery and clicked on preview and I get what I've gotten previously... An error message from every image staing it could not be found. All seemed fine when I initially saved my gallery. But now going through the steps suggested by Scott and ending up with no Gallery files in the XML file folder I went back to gallery to just look at it in preview and again the no images found.

Please anyone who could help me out here. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photo Gallery 3 times and did a rebuild 3 times. Days of work. I don't know how to proceed. Any Help is welcomed.

Thank you

In VSD go to the page that you would like the gallery on. Click on the "Add a Coffeecup flash object" icon on the left hand panel. Now browse to the mygalleryname.xml file that the photo gallery created when you made your gallery and click on it.:)
If you can't remember where you saved your gallery when you made it reopen the Photo gallery project and save it again and keep a note of where you did and when you click on the Add Coffeecup flash object" in VSD this is the location you will want to browse to.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Eric hi.

I did what you said. Followed the directory after opening the flash icon on the page i want to put the gallery. When i click on the file that supposedly contains my photo gallery it says no files found. I am just stumped. I have rebuilt this three times following the PDF manual but i can't seem to get it to save correctly. No idea what to do. Again any thoughts suggestions. I reloaded the software three times thinking it might be that. Really frustrated.

Thank you

Eric Hi again. I'm going to give you more info as I discover it while I try to figure this out. When I try to do a preview in the initial photo gallery page it doesn't work. Tells me no images found for each image. Then if I click on the album Icon and do a preview it works in that preview. I don't know if it means anything . Just more info. This is just killing me right now. A photo gallery is esential to my site. This is a brand new computer with nothing on it except CC software, norton anti virus. Just giving all the info I can that might help. Thank you

If you can't preview the gallery through the photo Gallery itself then something isn't quite right. I would reinstall the Photo Gallery software and try opening the project again. Lets first get the gallery to work because adding it to VSD is just a couple of clicks.:)

Eric now the preview doesn't work in the album area either. i get the same error message for every image that they can not be found. The path that they are saying they go to is C:\Users\Joseph1\AppData\Local\Temp\CoffeeCup Photo Gallery\images/j12logo1white.jpg This last section is the name of each image. I have reinstalled the Photo Gallery Software 3 times in the last two days and I still get the same results.

Have you moved any of the images that were used in your gallery after you made it?

I have reinstalled the Photo Gallery Software 3 times in the last two days and I still get the same results.
On each install I believe I am clearing everything possibly connected to Photo gallery off of the computer. Agai I am not a techie so maybe there are place I need to go to to really get rid of everything. Any suggestions on that or how to completely rid it of Photo gallery please let me know.

Didn't move any images. in fact after I made it this time I did nothing to alter it. No edits nothing. i just took my time making sure everything was correct. Maybe it could be something as simple as clearing my cache before a new install?

Have you tried creating an entirely new gallery with just a few images as a test?
