I'm a little confused about what files / directories will be uploaded to my server. I'm using VSD (a program I bought, but didn't use because I felt it wasn't very good.... I believe I was WRONG!) Anyhow, I have a directory called NPOwebSite_website, I think VSD added the '_website' at the end of the directory name??? When building my site, I would link to PDF files in my own directories on my "C" drive. when I previewed the web page src on the browser, I could see that link.
I also noticed that a copy of the PDF file that I linked to was copied to a directory called /files/download. Now the question (finally), when uploading my stuff to my server will the link be changed from my 'C' file link to the /files/download link?

Don't worry about what VSD is doing locally on your pc. Let VSD worry about it. That's the reason to use it. Make your site and hit the publish button and sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
