Have an image cover and not repeat as...

Greetings:

I've played with VSD 7.0, Build 26 for several days now and cannot find a way to have a jpg image cover the background without repeating. I couldn't find any options in the Page Properties box to do this, even though it does have options for positioning the jpg, but none to stretch and cover the background.

Any suggestions?

I know it's me doing something wrong, but when I try your solution using VSD's preview function, all I get is a white screen with the html code displayed in a black font.

I created sample screen shots (PDF files), but I couldn't get the size under the 100K Coffee Cup attachment limit.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Elmer

Upload your screen shots to your server and give us a link :)

I have my sites on 1and1.com but I'm not sure I can load any files there for another persons use.

I uploaded the screen shots to my Microsoft Sky Drive. Can you provide an email address so I can send a link to you?

Just post the link here in the forum so we can look at it. Also, just for your info, since you are a 'registered' CoffeeCup user you have a FREE S-Drive account that is really easy to setup and use for testing if you don't want to use it for your website. Just go to the top menu and click on the 'Services' tab, then select 'your sites'. If you have trouble I'm sure someone here can help you out.

Here's the link to the 3 page pdf file on my MS SkyDrive:

Page 1 is the HTML Code I inserted, Page 2 show's the Add Files that were added and Page 3 is the result using the View function in IE 10.

Let me know if it works...

Oh, you have to log in somewhere to see it... :(
Usually people just upload an image, screen shot or whatever, to their site and give us a link, like www.yourdomain.com/image.jpg
