importing excel spreadsheet
I can't seem to figure out how to import an excel spreadsheet onto my website. Am I missing something?
There is no "feature" in VSD that you would use to accomplish that task. You would need to use the HTML Tool and write your markup to embed this type of document.
You can find all sorts of ways to do this here at http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=c … +a+website

Set the print area of the page you want to publish to the area that you want seen. Then just go to the excel sheet and do save as and select web page then do print area. Now just copy all the code you see in the web page created by Excel by clicking on the page which will open it in your default browser then right clicking and selecting view source hit ctrl + a. Paste the code into the body HTML in VSD then adjust the width of the html box to fit you excel sheet code.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

If it is an Excel file that gets updated or changed from time to time, it would be an idea just to link to it. When people click on that link, the spreadsheet will open.

I link these using a shape, then link the shape to the document, pdf or excel file. VSD will automatically place the document in your download folder. You may have to check the link after saving and link it to the folder in the web site download folder so it works.
Thanks for the help I'll give all options a try.
Thank you - Thank you - Thank you, Eric!

You should edit the HTML you pasted into your page. Right now you are including <head> and <html> tags which will cause some validation issues. All you need to actually paste in is the markup in between the <body></body> tags.
