I'm currently running XP. When I follow your instructions, right click on the shortcut, and go to properties, I do see a Compatability tab. When I clidk that open, there is no option for running as administrator. If I knew how, I'd copy the window of choices for you, but I don't....
Still no link to my files, although the files are in the files/Download folder on the server. They will open when I 'hand fly' to them. Just can't get the &^%$#@ link to include the file name.
Sorry to be such a pain, but this used to work, and now it doesn't. 'Used to work' was before I enjoyed a computer crash due to lightning. Replaced that box and reloaded everything using an XP unit. Now, I'm having this file fun.
