Can't find anything in the forum. Can someone help me with installing social media buttons on my new web site page? I'm building it with VSD.

Hey Mel, what you want to do is find some good social media snippet online then add an html element to your vsd project and paste the code there. You should find it in the left hand column.

Thanks, Steve.
That's what I thought would be the procedure. Did find some code for 4, pasted it...but when I previewed .....the buttons were there alright but there was some text along with the buttons that didn't seem to make much sense. I'll find some other code snippets and try again.
BTW>.... I sure would like to make the transition from VSD to RLM Pro (which I bought when they first announced it in beta). The tutorial video, without any narration, leaves me totally bewildered. I've tried to find someone on Youtube showing and explaining RLM ....but not much better. I've read everything here in the Forum but still am lost; I'm fairly proficient with VSD (built 8 web sites now with it).... but getting from VSD-thinking over to even a starting point in RLM, e. g., what size page do I start with? Even the most basic information seems to have been overlooked, but lots of clicking and dragging and otherwise silence...except for some horrible music playing all the way through it.
Any suggestion where I can find some tutorial help to get started on my first RLM page? Scott told me once that I should learn their HTML Editor. Bought the thing ...even knowing I would never use it.
Thanks again for taking time to respond to my plea...

I would suggest dividing right in playing with the different elements and styling. Try moving them around, adding new rows and columns and adding new pages. I have a YouTube channel that shows some basic features and CC also has one. I'm on my phone right now so I don't have that one but my channel is saved in my signature below.
As your playing around and you run into problems or have any questions just pop back in here and ask, there are many of us that is this application every day

Hahaha GS!! I have all the favourites saved on my desktop browser so it's kind of a pain navigating around and getting back in here.

My Dreamhost techie says I've got to get my web site up on the server before I can install the social media buttons since they will be linking to my URL. I've run into the same problem [again] that I've encountered with every VSD-built web site I've made---- When I publish, it never generates the public_html folder/file. I've gone back and re-read the manual carefully and definitely had 'public_html' in the FTP Account Settings 'Remote Folder' slot (see attached picture)...but no public_html file or folder shows up when VSD or FileZilla has done its thing. All of my images, mp4 and mp3 files are there...but the site won't launch (without the public_html file).
Can anyone help me, please?

Not all servers have a folder called public_html. Most simply upload to / which is your root folder. Whatever you enter in VSD, must match whatever your server uses. Note, /public_html and public_html are also different paths.
