Hi,
2 new sites, both of them Dutch-language (but I know all of you can understand that easily :-))
1:
http://www.tehuurinspanje.info (apartment rental in Albir Playa, Spain, where I stay 4 months when it's cold overhere; that's how I got this customer). Not responsive of course, but made only 800 pixels wide, so it looks rather good on a tablet/phone (and in the header I placed <meta name=viewport content="width=800">, so on a tablet/phone the site fills the screen from left to right perfectly).
2:
http://www.harryniehof.nl . Harry is a musician, and a long time friend since the seventies when I played with him in a R&R group, The Dead Rabbits. This site is more ambitious. Although it has <meta name=viewport content="width=812"> inserted in the header -it's 812 pixels wide of course- to look good on a tablet/phone, on a big screen it has a responsive but fixed background on every page -the background adapts to the screen size, but stays on it's place when scrolling-, sometimes even a slideshow this way ( see
http://harryniehof.nl/MuziekTwijduustern.html ) or video ( see
http://harryniehof.nl/clips.html ). This was not easy to accomplish for a VSD user, I had to resolve a lot of puzzles, to use a lot of CSS and HTML to get this result. But I like the result.... I hope you like it too.
Regards, John
