Suzanne, go to Settinngs - Standard settings for new pages and reduce the width to about 1000px. Now it is 1620px, and that means a lot of sideways scrolling in order to see the contents. Maybe the images are actually there, only that you scrolled far enough right and haven't found them? :|

Hiya Lisa,

I would definitely get in contact with your hosting service as your site is extremely slow, and I really don't see anything on the actual site that could be causing it.

What is the image Page0_IMG_BCK.jpg doing? It is 2048 px wide, although only 1 px high. All I see it white. Do you need that background picture? I see it is scaled down 61%, but the connection has to load 100% of it anyway. Better to crop it to 1x1px, and it will tile the background.

Don't know if that is the reason for the slow loading, but worth a try.

I have just tried the site with a new theme and am still getting the slow loading issues. I will contact my hosting service and see if the issue is on their end. It is disappointing because I like the way the site looks but it isn't functional if it takes so long to load.

This is not a theme issue. This is a networking issue.

I went to your site this morning Lisa, it loaded normal speed for me at least it seemed to be loading as fast as any site that I have gone to for the first time. I emailed you the same info more or less from you contact us link on the site. Thought that you would like to see your contact us link working.

I don't know about that, as all advisors are not admins, but I do know that you can edit your post for up to 15 minutes. Then, you don't have to post 3 posts in a row.

Never mind I see it is just pg 35 of the existing thread started a new pg which appeared to be a new thread starting. My home pg was loading extremely slowly because it had a 7.4Meg background image animation I changed the background image to a 2Meg file size image and now it opens in a tolerable speed. I know that it seems to be a herky jerky motion of the brush but if I make it to a smooth movement it moves so fast that you cannot see the paint brush that is why the herky jerky motion I want the viewer to see what it is. www.workhorsepainting.com
