A relative link is a link from one page of your site to another, example:
<a href="contact.html">Contact me</a>

if the page you are linking from is in the same folder.
Or if the page you are linkin to is in a subfolder:
<a href="folder/contact.html">Contact me</a>

The opposite of relative linking is absolute linking, where you use the full website url for the pages/images/scripts etc. Example with an image link:
<img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/images/picture.jpg" />

Ha en riktig god dag!

On the Joseph Clark Gallery...very nice! Good clean looking web site. Loads fast and pictures look great. Just curious why you didn't use WFB for your contact form ?

Ah! Okay, sorry to pry. Thought you might have owned it but had a problem. Understand the free thing. Maybe in the future...it is a handy little program!

Hiya Tim,

Looks nice, am wondering why you didn't opt to do a full blown online shop, but I'm sure you have your reasons for that as I don't know much on the artifact scene and how that's usually handled.

As for the site it looks very nice, not bad for VSD and you did a good job on all but one thing lol... ya I know there's always something :P

The links in the footer look atrocious compared to the rest of the site. I would suggest coloring them the teal color in your logo and "not" having them change to a different color when visited. Right now it's very bad colors when you look at the rest of the site, and the colors are not consistent either. Some pages mark all of them read, some only some of them visited so make sure they are all the same settings. I don't know about others, but I tend to not use the visited setting on links anymore. It's very distracting to me.

Anyways, definitely change the colors on those links to match the rest of your site and make the visited setting either go away completely, or the same color for all pages and you'll be good to go. Nice job!

Hello everyone! I wanted to post my site that I created with VSD and get some feedback. Visit http://ggosvener.coffeecup.com to see it. Some of the text needs to be completed but I'm mainly interested in seeing what you think of overall layout.

Thanks, Gene :D

Hey Gene,

Very nice looking site overall. I like your color combinations with the exception of the link colors. As Jo Ann pointed out above for another site, your link colors do nothing to help your site. Your email address is pale and the hover color on the wood background is almost unreadable. I would also not spell out your email on any page. There are those that would harvest email and spam you to death.

That said, your header looks nice and your pages load fast. You have a very nice looking site. Good luck with your business!
