@kim, I can't think of a better way that is search engine friendly. Sounds like you are doing it the best way possible.

Hi there Kim welcome to the forums,
I am not sure what your issue is. When I load your website it only loads the menu once for each page because it is the first time I am viewing it. However once I have viewed your page it doesn't reload the menu. I don't really think it matters what menu system you use it will always reload the menu and everything else on the page the first time a person views your page.
Unless I am misunderstanding the problem?
I think this site looks very good and is working very well.

Here as a very clean simple design I finished up earlier this year. I had a lot more pizzaz, if thats a word, but he wanted to scale it back. Sometimes it's tough balancing what the customer wants and what he should have. Any ways here it is:

I think that site is electric Steve Don't take any notice of my ridiculous sense of humour. Yeah very nice and clean, the content says what it needs to, the images aren't too big, all in all nice work So you treating us all to a Pizza Strange that word Pizzazz but you missed a z out The thing with sites like the building trade with electrics etc, it's hard to make them really sing, some sites lend themselves to all sorts of flashy stuff but other don't and it's all about getting the balance right.

Good clean site. Looks great. You going to make it 'responsive'? I'm sure they'll ask!

I really doubt this guy will ask for it! I will be sending out a bulletin to my clients once I have mastered RLM asking if they want to upgrade to a responsive website or maybe I will wait for the RSD!! Don't make me start chanting again

Here is one of my latest projects that I am designing with VSD. Not quite done yet but looking forward to comments on design. Anything I can do to make it better?

Very nice looking site. Only thing I could see was maybe centering the text over the 4 pics in the middle of the page. Other than that, love the colors, the slider layout is VERY good. I'd like to have that for my site if I had a business! Well done!

Nicely done Steve, you definitely make VSD look good
Two things I'd suggest for it though:
1. The text in the footer menu is very hard to read, bad color.
2. Your own logo is very hard to see, I would suggest creating some alternate logo colors or putting it on a background for those hard to see colored sites. Coloring of the site is very pretty though so don't change it for that
3. I agree with Gunsmoke on the text centering of the titles of the images in the blue section.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
