Hi,
I'm using VSD and I would like to shape text around an image, in the same way as is possible in Word. You know, the "tight" command when you place text around an object like an image.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi Bruce,
I received a message through email that you responded on my post with "Could you not do this manually?".
Well, the answer is: I tried everything I could think of, but in VSD it doesn't seem possible to wrap some text around an image. Or am I totally overlooking something here?

Hi, yes I was gonna change my question but got side tracked.
I have sort of an idea of http://kellyinfo.com/web/TextWrap.JPG
or even something like this would be good:

I am also looking into coding in html editor to see what I can do, I am not all that code smart but know enough to be hazardous to my health.
maybe someone else can chime in as well.

Hi Bruce,
Thank you for your quick response. Do I understand you correctly if you say you used three blocks of text, in a way that you wrap these around the pic?

yes, I copied a certain amount of text, placed it ontop, then copied more then placed it on the side, then more on the bottom which made it look like it was wrapped, if you need a visual to this explaination let me know and I shall do.
OK, I'm gonna try that one. Thanks for your help & have a nice day.

ok , let me know thanks

I use hspace="10" vspace="10" in images.
Yes I know that WS3c throw it out but it works in both IE and FF.

Thanks Philip, I didn't even think of that...better yet!
Here's a good example:

And the code:
You must put the left and right alignment in too otherwise it will not work

And the code:
<img src="../../squad/constable8.jpg" width="250" height="250" alt="James Constable" border="0" align="right" hspace="10" vspace="10" />

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
