Hi, I just downloaded VSD 5.9.2-did the normal uninstall restart and install. Opened my website and re-sync then it started asking for files I used such as a php form file file

so I went to where it was located and in the window it only shows XML

wouldn't let me change the file type to search for it. So more or less it asked for another file> http://kellyinfo.com/web/E3.jpg
I chose to upload anyway and it takes me to look for the missing file
http://kellyinfo.com/web/E4.jpg note that these files are where they are but it only goes to look for xml's when it really wants php html, whatever. So I decided to just skip and upload anyway and when the window pops up (like in image above I would select cancel just to move along. Then I would get this.

I using XP SP2
300 Gig HD 3 gig ram
I.E.7
Anti-virus off and windows and all other firewalls shut down as well.

Looking at the error message dialog, I doubt its your doing as the path shown in the dialog is invalid: you see your path "C:\..." is repeated a number of times, resulting in an invalid path, thus the error message.

A wild thought here: did you run the register.exe that's found in the VSD folder? No idea what it does but seen it referenced a number of times by Scott ...

Hi, The same thing is happening to me. and, I changed one line of text and tried to upload and it wouldn't do it. So, I uploaded with Filezilla, but, the web jukebox on page 20, the sermons, won't play any sound. Well, when I first open that page one or two sermons start to play and then when I go to another sermon it won't play and then the first one won't play. I redid the web jukebox and still it doesn't work. Also some of the links from the first page don't work.

I redid those in VSD and they worked for a while, but now don't work again. Please Help. Thank you. Sarah

Hi Bruce. Thanks for checking the site. Glad you like the music. I just checked the site again and the sermons start out playing, but when I switch from one to another, it won't play and just keeps saying loading. the link to "other uu sites" won't work. I will go back to vsd and relink it, but it's acting so strange. and, what is happening with vsd? and what is happening with the forum? the times are all off that the messages are made and there's (new message) for all the posts. Makes me think I'm going crazy. Maybe I am? eeek.

Sarah again I checked your website and still get everywhere, hear everything, links all works, even UU. The sermons play , but how long before it quits on you? maybe i didn't listen long enough and will go back.

Thanks so much for checking the site. Well, when I go to "Sermons". I click on the first sermon and it starts playing, then I click on another sermon and it starts playing, then I click on another sermon and it doesn't play, so I click on the first sermon and it doesn't play anymore either. They all work in the vsd preview, but I can't make them work online. In the preview there is no waiting for them to play and when they worked online before they all started playing immediately. Sorry to be such a pain. Thanks for your help. Sarah

I just saw the example you created. How very neat!!! I see the curser changing the sermons, but there is no sound. Was there Supposed to be sound.? At any rate I can see that the loading changes immediately to play, but that doesn't happen when I try it.

I just had a try at your site. The uu link works fine, and no problem at all with the sermons. Could not get it to hang no matter how many times I changed sermons.
Sounds like maybe your computer is having trouble with the flash files. Have you tried updating the flash pluggin for your browser at adobe.com?
