I have the newest VSD version and I CANNOT get the HTML codes to work. I Know, I know...others have asked this same question over and over again, but i followed the diredtions and it's not the code that's wrong, because it works everywhere else but on the VSD.
This is what I'm doing please let me know if a step is missing PLEASE!
1. I click the HTML icon located just to the right.
2. click on the page and the square (that you create with the mouse pops up)comes up...
3. The "insert HTML" box pops up and i add the code to the area that says "Body HTML" then click ok..
this where I am lost
4. then it says "finished", and a box opos up again saying "to properly display embedded hTML objects, use the Settings>additional files>Add Files command to automatically add the files referenced by the objects to your site", I then click OK

Can someone please help me out here???, I'm a novice I admit

Hi there. I guess my first question would be, what kind of code are you trying to enter into VSD? If it's code that's generated by another CoffeeCup program (that has an XML file as well), you should try the tool just below the HTML Tool that's labeled "Add CoffeeCup Flash Application Tool" (lightning bolt w/ + sign). That one should bring up the wizard asking for the xml to properly add the necessary files.
For anything else, you were probably correct in using the HTML Tool. If the code being pasted in the HTML box references other files (like a swf or image), then you would do as the instructions said and go to Settings -> Additional Files -> Add Files. Actually, if this is a more recent version of VSD, it should just be:
Settings -> Add Files

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
