Hi there i have been using Coffee Cup Free FTP for a while and no problems. Now when i connect i cannot view my pages on the server.

I just downloaded FTP 6.2 and the same problem occurs. When i went into the activity log i noticed this message.

227 Entering Passive Mode (81,31,121,114,119,19)
ERROR 10060 Data Socket: The current connection has timeout.

Can anyone help

Can your ftp to your site using Internet Explorer?

Have you tried using any other FTP programs?

It would appear that the zone alarm is mysteriously blocking all ftp programmes. they now work if i turn off zone alarm. can't work out why zone alarm is blocking

There should be a way to tell Zone Alarm to allow specific programs to connect to the network. It has been sometime since I used Zone Alarm, but if you poke around you should find the settings to allow FTP.
