Why Such Slow Upload Speed with...

Quick update to my last post. I just downgraded to Build 1889, and it was just as slow.
I then uninstalled Build 1889 and re-installed Build 1822, and that is flying along, taking just a couple of minutes to upload the 450+ files.

I will try and get some timings et when I get some spare time, but for now v6.7 is staying on my machine, it works a treat.:)

Are seconds seconds faster than normal seconds?
Aren't you a little short for a Storm Trooper?

I find that used seconds don't last as long.:)

Well that's interesting. I've never used it before so I just assumed that it was a problem on my end. If the older version works and the newer one doesn't (even if only for some folks), then it would seem like its worth looking into.

The only real way we can look into it is if more people go through the same process you did Jefff. So far only 2 people have done this, so from our point of view the issue seems pretty small. ;)

The more log files we get, the more our developers can analyze what is going on and hopefully see some sort of pattern.

Filezilla is faster for me uploading entire apps like WP, Joomla, or Drupal. Smaller uploads work much faster. Filezilla is not without faults either. It hangs sometime and I really never know if it's done or not. It's kind of like the dems vs the repubs, ya can't be a hard liner and should vote independent. :)
