I use Windows Defender with my Windows 11 PC and recently turned on the 'controlled folder access' security option. All worked fine except the HTML editor won't run, instead posting a message on how to set Windows to allow the Coffeecup editor to be exempt from restrictions. That page is at
https://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles … er-access/ I followed instructions exactly and my PC now shows that coffee.exe is allowed to run - but it doesn't. I am seeking advice on how to continue using controlled folder access and also use the HTML editor. All tips are welcome. Thank you.
