I've noticed, recently, that when I click the Preview tab on HTML editor 2008, it takes a few seconds before I can click back to the code editor.

Not sure I understand exactly what you find slow. If you mean when you click on preview, and it takes a bit before the preview is loaded, that depends on what kind of and how many objects you have built into the page. Once the preview is loaded, it should be possible to go back to code mode right away.

No, the preview loads fast enough. However, when I click on the code editor to go back, it takes about 5 seconds for the hourglass icon to go away letting me click back to code view, which is slowing me down (you wouldn't think 5 seconds would be that much of an issue, but it is when all I wanted to do was make sure something looked OK before proceeding). I didn't have this problem in earlier versions of the software.
