I keep getting ÿþ< on my code page however when i click on the preview page my partially made website appears. Im so frustrated. What does this mean and how do I fix it. Obviously not being able to see the codes prevents me from finishing the page. Please help!

Try using UTF-8.

Look for this code in the header.
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />

I cant view the codes though. That is the problem. That symbol is all that appears

It is already set to UTF8 so that didnt fix it . Any other suggestions.

I did what you suggested now this is what I am getting.
