Here is the situation if I have a the "main folder" then two sub folder, "Sub A" & "Sub B." If I have all my html documents in in "Sub A" and I need a link to an image in "Sub B" ho to I go up on level then go to "Sub B." I know this is a newbie questions but when I have had this problem in the past with a file I usually just use the entire path, "www.site.com/images/a.jpg" I can't do this right now because I have not put the file on the server, I am running them from my desktop.

If you have saved the "A" document than simply go to the "B" dir with the images. Than insert the image by duoblclick.
If you are using a code editor you will see before the "B" path name is inserted ../"B"/imagename.jpg
This means: one dir back and than go to "B" and than go to the image.
