Hi all. I've been using the CoffeeCup HTML for several years to create and maintain a couple small businesses we run. Here's one of the sites . . .

http://www.propworks.biz/

That company is run by my 83 year old mother (out in California) and my son who does the production work for her.

Let me know what you think, good or bad. Always appreciate constructive criticism. Thanks!

Hi Michael, Very nicely done! I love the color and the whole flow of the website. Not much to critique at all.

If one was to get super nit picky the only thing i would comment on at all is the bullets on some of the pages appear way to the left of the website instead of centering with the list.

But over all Excellent Job!

Steve... thanks for the kind words! Much appreciated!!

I especially want to thank for pointing out the bullet list problem. Yeah, it looked pretty bad in IE and Chrome, but fine in Firefox. I usually do a fair amount of testing, but missed that altogether for some reason. Took awhile to find a fix on that actually, but found the answer here: http://tinyurl.com/qfn34wl

One thing I've found over the years is that 99% of the time, visitors or even customers on the site won't tell you about such problems. So I appreciate you telling me so I could fix it.

While I was looking for the bullet problem, I notice that in IE11, there are white and gray horizontal lines (about 1 px thickness) that show up on the background photos. That's a head scratcher.

Steve, thanks again for taking the time to look at the site!

Hey Eric, learning to juggle is easier than most people think. In my experience, if a person can throw and catch one ball, they can learn to juggle 3 (I taught classes in CA for a number of years). The biggest hurdles people usually have are mental ones. A lot of people talk themselves out of it before even trying it. If you believe you can't do something, you can't. :) So much of it is having good instruction. I tried to learn as a youth and then later as an adult, and gave up. Thought it was too hard to learn. Then my sister bought me the book, "Juggling for the Complete Klutz!" when I was in my mid 30's. I learned how to juggle 3 balls in one evening, and it was because of having good, clear, step-by-step instruction. Makes all the difference in the world. When I taught juggling in Adult Ed. and Parks and Recs I had a 99% success rate.

Sorry to get off topic here. . .

I had some friends in CA that could do both. Was awesome to see. I regret not learning how to ride a unicycle when I was young and healthy enough to learn. I've always admired that skill. IMO, learning to juggle is easier than learning to ride a unicycle. Go for it Eric!

If you all get a chance, I have my other website that I made with the CoffeeCup HTML Editor that I'd like get some input on . . .

http://www.puppetsandprops.com/

I know a few of the pages still have some tables in there, so that I'm aware of that. I had been in the process of getting everything over to 100% CSS layout, but got busy here. In any case, I've had that look for the site for a several years, and I'm thinking at this point it needs a makeover most likely. At the very least I want to remake the site so it is responsive (I see that as a very important goal), but while I'm at it, makes some improvement in the looks, and maybe not so cheesy. :P

Thanks in advance for any input you might have!

Hey Michael,

Seems a very familiar layout :D

I think you could totally have fun with RLM and making this a responsive website! To me its actually still pretty nice looking and trust me I have seen a lot worse brand new launches then this site. The only thing thats really lacking between both is as you know the responsiveness. I would keep the same colour scheme but maybe tweek the layout a bit. I would add some Web forms with paypal buttons to purchase your product rather than taking your clients out of your website to finish the sale.

And if your redoing your site anyway I would consider some updated photo galleries maybe using some visual light boxes and WOW sliders.

Always fun building websites but I feel that rebuilding websites is even more exciting because you can see the improvement and get that WOW factor back.

Anyways good luck with the rebuild! Have fun with it.

Steve, thanks! Yeah, I did a similar logo as they are sister companies, and because at some point they will merge into one company. Yes, looking to get designing with RLM as soon as possible. I like the color scheme too. I'm thinking of putting the navigation horizontally and widening the content area. Make a cleaner look overall, making it look a little more modern perhaps.

Will have to investigate the Web forms with paypal buttons. Not sure exactly what you mean. Yeah, right now I pay extra for Cart32. It's been a good cart, but maybe I need to think about going in the direction you suggest.

Yes, looking into the WOW sliders, and lightbox galleries, etc. The site definitely needs a bit more Wow! :)

Steve, thanks so much for taking the time to look and give some nice feedback and input!
