Suggestions for CoffeeCup HTML Editor...

No, because then you would have to switch to the Snippets tab and then find the <p> snippet. Takes longer then just typing it. :P

I just use Ctrl + Enter. Inserts the "p" tags with the cursor between them ready to add paragraph. Using the shortcut keys is much quicker than the code completion for me. Shift + Enter gives you the <br> tag, but haven't checked if it puts the correct one depending on the document type, i.e., XHTML 1 <br />.

Thanks Ron, I keep forgetting about the shortcut keys (SirAGE keeps harping at me to learn them lol, but old brains .... nuff said.)

Still would like it to be as above though as I am sure I would use it more that way than with the shortcut keys (now if we could make our own shortcut keybindings, that would be a whole different story, I know I'd use many of them that way then.)

-more things to add.... :

I want to click on the line-number in the Edit window to "select" the whole line...
and when I keep pressed the mouse-button and drag down - more lines should be selected....

It could be implemented on right-click on a Tab, popping up a list of 5-10 colors, and picking color will Set that color on the active Tab.

Oh, I use the shortcut keys as well. Someone had a question about the auto complete so I was showing them how to use it. As it does not pertain to just the p tag it has all of them. :P I was just using the p tag as an example.

Actually not a bad suggestion as to get to them now you have to go to Help>View Help File (PDF)>Scroll to Page 90.:P Maybe shorter would be F1 then page 90 if editor is in focus. :lol:

Would be nice for those that are currently unassigned by the Editor which mostly adhere to the commonly known shortcuts used on other programs.
