The only way your snippets would have been deleted is if you uninstalled the software first. If you installed the latest version over your 2008 install, those would have been preserved.

The new version of Coffecup shows the <br /> for the break tag.
Yet, when I validate it as a 4.01 transitional file with www3, It gives me warnings for all it sees saying that <br> is better. Of course it takes a lot more words to say so. I can send you a copy of the warning if you need.
The question is, can the tag lists be changed to show <br> ?
Thanks Jack

I just hate the W3C sometimes
Actually <br /> is the correct tag to be using and you should be migrating to way from the old <br>

OH! OH! I like it.
I'm working on my regular updates on my website. (the one with over 3000 files!)
The list htm file I'm on now has 3524 lines. (some are blanks)
Anyway, I have to search through the file to find where to make my changes.
Today, while doing it, for the first time, I noticed that as I typed, it started it's search! That helps a lot in my case. It's handy.
Boy, I hope that hasn't been there all along. That would make me look bad. 8![:)](/images/bbcode_emoticons/smile.png)
Thanks anyway. I'll assume it's one of the new features.

Yep Scott... Doesn't make it easy to try to learn the proper way when they pull that off on us.

Well, I thought I had the latest version , build 305. I don't see a My Websites > All Website Projects > What is a Website Project at all ?
Not sure if I am using the latest.

Jerry,
When you get CoffeeCup HTML Editor open, click on Help | About this software. Look under the construction guy logo. That should show your build number.

Guys, I appreciate the timely updates, but how about some release notes in the emails you send out please?
I see them above, but it would be nice to have in the email, "see what we added:"

We do. They are always posted in the Announcement thread. The HTML Editor one will be posted there as soon as the newsletter has completed sending.

I want to add an additional Root Item to an existing menu created with CSS Menu Designer. I opened the existing menu.mnu file and didn't have a problem adding the new Root Item to the "end" of the existing menu. However, I want to insert the new Root item as the 3rd selection in the menu instead at the end of the menu. How do I do that without delelting all the existing Root Items below the 3rd one and then re-entering them, and their Subitems, again? Same question when adding a Subitem to a list of existing Subitems... how to insert it without deleting the existing items?
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
