I am using Windows XP3 and Coffee Cup HTML Editor as well as Image Mapper. The mapped image works ok with PCs and laptops but the links will not connect to the page using an iPhone. Can you please tell me how to fix it? The url in question is: http://www.aseasonofhappiness.com/index.html
Thanks guys

Hi Kathleen,
It must have something to do with your page markup. Who's html editor are you using?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

A very old and dang near obsolete one that's for sure since the site is still laid out using tables.
Kathleen you may want to consider changing to a more modern html editor.
Give CC's VSD a trial run.

Surely you must be joking, Eric...?
Kathleen says she is using the CC HTML Editor, which sounds like an ideal choice to me!
The page validates as XHTML and I don't see anything obviously 'wrong' in the markup, - and that includes the use of tables...
I tried the page in various browsers and it seems to work in Opera, Firefox and IE10, but not in Chrome for some reason. I don't have a solution for you Kathleen, so I can only hope that someone with Image Mapper experience (something I don't have) will take a look at it.
I stand corrected on the editor she's using, but.... she didn't build that site with it for 100% sure, that's a visual setup on that website so it was built with a visual editor of some sort or another, definitely not VSD. Editing it with HTML Editor is good though, I either missed that or she edited her original post as I don't recall seeing that in the post when I read it.
... course we all know how well I read and miss things hahahahaha!
As for it validating, yes it will do so for the most part, but much of the code for the styling is deprecated at this time, and tables are not suggested as the way to layout a website anymore for SEO and ease of editing reasons. Also validating the CSS (which is very minimal and not in separate files which it should be if it's being edited with a text editor), there are issues there.
Other than that I would need to know what page you have the Image Map on as I don't see the code for it on the home page at all.

I missed the that she was using the html editor also but that doesn't mean the markup is correct. I looked at the page source and that looks to be markup from an older WYSIWYG editor. My suggestion only came from the type of html code that was being used. I have an image map on a site created with VSD that has almost 100 links and they all work fine on my iphone.
Staying with the editor is going to mean some reconstruct of the site to make the image map work.
HTML editor or VSD would be fine.

The image map is on the home page between lines 143 and 147
Ima go back to bed now Per hahahaha, I missed that totally, .... *mumbles to self... Ctrl+F is your friend... Ctrl+F is your friend... Ctrl+F is your friend...*
also, not sure why it's not working, I don't use the program, but letting you know it's not just iphone, doesn't work on my android phone either.
