Well, like me, you'll end up buying it anyway so the way I look at it, it may as well be sooner rather than later. I have to agree about the shipping, weight based is a real must and for me, downloadable products certainly.

Looking at some other carts, they have a simple user editable weight table next to the shipping options on the admin side, where you enter user defined weight bands and the relative shipping cost. Your weights get totalled up during shopping, then when you choose the shipping option from the drop down on the cart it just gets the price for that weight band from the table and you have an accurate shipping price. By having user definable wording in the shipping dropdown, you have a flexible system that can be used anywhere in the world and with any type of shipping service.

The site designer will certainly give the current cart creator a lot of flexibility with the design elements, but is it the future mechanicals behind the frontage, that will need to drive the product forward.

does anyone know if theres a limit on product items in 1 store ?

I am not very good with the technical stuff, but as you still have the Magento logo in the address bar i guess you are using a re-direct

I did something similar and eventually the Magento site lost its google ranking

have you added a site map to cc site, if not would be adviseable asap

I have read in these forums that the total lmit on products is 1500 items.

You'll find you'll get better responses to your questions if you post them in the Shopping Cart Creator section of the forum Doug, as not everyone will look in the announcements section for cart questions.

I understand the pro version of the cart will allow more than 1500 items, but that's a future product, that's not here yet.
