breaks

Why is Responsive Content Slider sometimes adding invalid break tags at the end of paragraphs?
</br>
I checked the content of the paragraph box, and there are no breaks.

Thank you!

Hi Debc,
Are you coping and pasting content?
Are you hitting the return key at the end?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I wondered that too. But I edited the text again to be sure there are no stray breaks.
Even if there was a break though, why would it use the </br> ?
<br> is an empty tag, so it does not have a closing tag.
In XHTML it is <br />

Thank you for the reply!

Also, I believe <source> is not supposed to have a closing tag </source>, yet RCS is adding that.

Another thing I noticed - RCS is adding img tag with no "src".
It has "srcset", which is optional, but "src" is required with img in HTML5.

Can you share your RCS project?

Thanks.
One thing that might help you on your end...
I just went back to export one again to put in a place for your review, and this time I used the "standalone" option (for the first time.) The standalone does not make the same tag errors.
I went back again and exported for embedding, and the embed script is incorrect.

Is RCS exporting differently for the two different options?
This is the result of an Export "For Embedding" allenorgan.net/test/RCS_embed.txt
This is the result of Export for "Standalone" http://www.allenorgan.net/test/aiapcbslider1_exported/

These were exported from the exact same project, one after the other, yet the html output is different for each.

Also, my Out animations are not working. But I was still not sure if that was just me.

I would open a support topic and ask the CC gurus about the differences since you can replicate.
