Hi there everybody
Got a quick question

I have a simple slide show with just images no buttons text or anything

They are just on fade in and fade out

Is it at all possible to make the animation such that as one image starts to fade out the next image starts to fade in, sort of a crossover. I have tried all sorts of things got it to pretty close but cany quite get it as I would like it.

Maybe not possible but I would like to know if it can be done how it can be done

Thanks in anticipation for any help

I don't think this is available yet. I know I requested it along with a few other users. I might be wrong though because I haven't had much time to mess with the latest version.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thank you Eric, I have come to the conclusion that it isn't possible with RCS at this moment, I have tried so many combinations I am almost fading away myself.

Ah well i have got them as close as I think I can, will have to see if the client accepts it.

Have a great day wherever in the world you are

I would like this also, it is not a common feature of such content sliders. I learned that is is sort of complicated to feature this, because it requires a good deal of manipulation of the opacities. This would definitely be an advanced function.

Hi Everybody from Sunny Bali

This is now quite available with many alternative sliders (some not quite 100% ) so it must be possible, Having discovered CC stuff and especially this content slider thingy from them, which although not so easy to jump into right at the start, does begin to come clearer and clearer the more one uses it (Just like all the other stuff really), I am reluctant to start messing about with some of the other sliders that do seem to be able to make those fading images cross over..

Anyway no big deal at the moment, happy to continue on, fading, twisting, curling, spinning whatever:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Have a great day wherever you all are in the world.

Has there been any update to this? I am building a content slider of 6 before and 6 after images that really need to fade into each other for the best effect. As there is no negative setting for delay (min. is zero) it seems as if this is not possible. I have been using WOW slider up until now and the fade in and out DEFAULT setting in WOW slider is crossover. So I am sure it can be done.
Just another day designing websites for money... it's all good!

The closest you will get at the moment is to use the smooth transition,

The fade issue ? ( I kinda miss the tween from flash in the old days ;))
On all my slides of pictures and slideshow settings I set the background to opacity 0. I set all the Global Animation Settings to Animation "Smooth" which Wayan notes. I think the key setting is the Animate In & Out. There is a period of duration between slides which is "Animate In & Out". I set on each of the slides the duration to 1.25 seconds. I then change the state to "Animate In" and set it to .25 seconds. I then change the state to "Animate out" and set it to 1.00 seconds. "Animate In" plus "Animate out" must equal "Animate In & out".

I was trying this and wound up with longer time settings and it seems to work. Try Animate In & Out at 4.00, Animate In at 1.75 and Animate Out at 3.25. Not the same ratio but longer times.

Here's a link to what these times look like: http://mytestblog.net/rcs/

I originally used all cloud pictures and the changeover wasn't as good as with the sunset pictures mixed in. I'm going to create some text slides and see how those look. Maybe later today.
