Multiple images displayed in slider
Is it possible to have, say, 3 images displayed side by side across the width of the slider. The only example I know of is:

I was hoping to be able to do this with images on left and right slightly faded out. I wanted to use elements on the main image for each slide as they became the central slide.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

A very low-tech solution would, of course, be
(a) to decide on what the full width should look like on each change of the slide;
(b) to create in a graphics program that full width appearance for each slide as one picture, i.e. a picture with the central unfaded image and the faded images (or partial images) at each side (Note).
The problem is that it would have to be an instantaneous change rather than sliding across the page (which would look strange).

The software I happen to use makes this very easy. I would simply line up the 3 images in Serif PagePlus, select them, and export them as a picture. I guess there are plenty of other programs that can achieve the same effect. FC

If you view the source code and scroll to the bottom you'll see that is a jquery plugin. As far as the fading there may be sliders that do that and if you can get that plugin it may do what you want.

Thanks to both of you for replying. I have been using Revolution Slider but was hoping that RCS would operate on a par but Revolution Slider plus the Standalone creator software does this task with ease. Pity because I like Coffee Cup software but this program needs to be on a par with other software which means a lot more needs to be done to improve it.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
