Can't export project [Error: Empty...
Trying to export a job out of v4 [build 1784] and getting the following error:
The program expected a response from your server, but your server did not respond. This could be caused by a communication problem. Reconnect to your server and try again. [52] Additional information: Empty reply from server.
I need to keep this job in v4 right now and wondering if anyone knows a way around this/what might be wrong?
Thanks,
Kristin.

As in the images being stored in SDrive? If so, then yes (technically, I'm just exporting to a local directory and then I update the code to point to the images that'll be hosted via MailChimp).
If I remove the images from the job, I don't get the error, so I think this has something to do with it...

Here's a capture of the error when trying to export (attached).

I have had the same issues with RED and now they have changed the way they deal with images. It seems we have to host our own images now. I cannot seem to find the new tutorial on how to add them. Maybe someone here will chime in but you could always open a support topic and ask CC the question there. I wouldn't mind knowing how to use images in RED now as well.

Yep, the issue is with local images.
I uploaded the images to a test server and switched the source for my images to Online Image (per image, adding the server-hosted URLs as the source), exported and no issues. So, definitely an issue with local images trying to be stored in SDrive.
That's kinda weird because isn't that one of the reasons we're paying for the subscription—to host the images on SDrive?

Submitted a support request with details. Seems very odd we can't use local images anymore.
I would agree with you. Please post back what they suggest/advise.

In RED, “local” does not mean your local computer. Any images in an email have to be stored online. As I understand it (and I could be wrong), “local” images in RED are online images that are stored on SDrive.
Again, if I understand correctly, for security reasons, the hosting company for SDrive no longer allows remote connection from RED or other similar software. As a result, “local” images cannot be used because RED cannot automatically connect to SDrive and upload them for you. Therefore, you must manually put all your images online.
The issue is not with RED and is actually beyond CC’s control.
