Outlook 2019 desktop issue

My apologies if this has already been discussed. I couldn't find a 'search' function for these threads.

I have created a fairly simple email using RED which looks great on everything except my clients Outlook 2019 desktop client. There doesn't appear to be a width (text flows off the screen creating horizontal scrollbar) or padding around certain elements such as images. See attached screenshots of both Outlook 2019 and a standard Gmail account.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Slade, you may want to open a support ticket for this for the CC team to have a look at.

I cannot test it, but it may be that the rather old article at https://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles … r-outlook/ will help.

Thanks Steve and Frank.

@Steve, I have submitted a support ticket along with a the example screenshots and my RED file. Hopefully there is a solution and maybe something simple and dumb I did that can be resolved.

@Frank, I looked that article over and do understand how to use the "outlook" only functionality. The issue is that I have no idea what is causing this issue and what could be created as "outlook only" to fix it. Outlook 2019 doesn't appear to be adhering to the max width of 720px my email body is setup for.

Hi guys, any idea how long the support usually takes? My only reply was on October 24th saying they are taking a look at my issue. I sent a response the other day asking how it was coming along but no response. My client is beyond upset at this point.

Hi Slade,

It could take some time as they are a very, very small crew now compared to years ago. Usually you should get a response within a week or two but if its taking longer yea just reply to your thread topic to ask for an update like you did.

You might want to use "constrained rows" (if you are not) when doing your layout. That usually has solved my problems with Outlook desktop versions & the Outlook app on mobile.
