I wonder if anyone has any ideas of why this might be happening, I'm sure somebody will come up with it. Anyway I am using margin:auto, padding: 0, display: block which is correct for the positioning of this image as I use it on many websites without a problem. It works on RLM when you do it, it works on the browsers when you preview it, but with it heck work when it comes to doing it when I need it. There is a workaround that I know of which does work, but that is time consuming and I've tried it on here and it does work, however I would like some advice on how to centre the image. In normal coding CSS never had any problems.
The first image is what I want moreorless, the second it goes to the left. I've tried it on 100%, also by just using max-width all to no avail.

Did you remember to set 'display: block' and then 'margin: auto'?

Where are your break points?

389px, 588px and 1017 default, I think I see where your coming from, but it's hard to add wider one's because of the size in RLM, plus the fact it shows up fine in Preview, that's what the stumbling block is. There is a work round that well...works and that works as it does on Preview, but I don't seem to be able to collaborate Preview to practical.

Do you need a break point at 1017?

Nigel did you delete your image element all together and add that slider? Do you have a link to your page? I have had this problem before. is your image set to 100% and max-width "none"?

It's not a slider Steve just an image, yeah removed everything. I've done it a 100% I've done it by pixels which is around 800, I've done max-width none on the 100% no joy Just trying to do it the way I would normal coding. I haven't put this up online yet as it's a prototype

No I guess not, just liked it there I'll give it a try without see what happens
