Nice Job Ernie. You've taken a pretty basic site and made it cutting edge with RLM.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Definitely a nice change, well done Ernie.

A couple suggestions I would make would be:

1. Lose one of the location maps on the Location page. One is plenty, 2 is overkill. Make the Google one larger to make it more accessible and lose the other one would be my suggestion on that.

2. Your little gallery showing the different cottages would be better if:
    A. There were photos of each of the different cabins (this may be but the next sentence will explain why we don't know that if there is).
    B. Put a comment on them so people know what they are looking at. A photo Outside and Inside for each of the cabins and label them so people know what cabin is what.

    3. The only other thing I would suggest is combining your 2 menus. The buttons on the main content area are kind of unnecessary if you use a menu that incorporates dropdowns as you can combine some of those into one dropdown and make the page look nicer. This is a preference so not a "wrong or bad" thing.

    That's really all I could see, looks great, nice job!

"I didn't care for both maps either but the customer wanted them both because he thought the drawn map was so pretty. He actually wanted the drawn map above the Google map. I'm leaving that issue for later."

    "The gallery for the cottages is going to get a major upgrade. There will be all new pictures and descriptions when their spring season slows down and he can get all new pictures taken. Probably sometime around the middle of June."

    "Ah, the extra menus. He had 'ALL' the menus on the other site and wanted them all on this site. He's like a lot of business owners and wants what he wants. This was the best solution for this site right now. He's afraid people won't find all the menu items if they are in dropdowns.

    There's actually three on each side but I have the 'Specials' button turned off because he hasn't had the time to set up his specials."

    That's really all I could see, looks great, nice job!


What this client wants is a site that's all about his fish camp on the front page without a lot of text. And, then links to the 'other stuff' where it's easy for them to find them.

This is the first site I have created with RLM Pro. I used a template for this one.

Looks like a nice job for your first try with RLM Pro. The Lawyer site looks good.

I see what you mean about BIG on the second site. Customers want what they want.

Whoa that's big! I would say too big if you asked my honest opinion. Have you suggested to your client that they should reduce the size of their images. Having image files that large will impact the speed at which the website loads especially on a cell phone connection. It kind of defeats the purpose of going responsive to make it better for your clients experience.

I love the lawyers site. Looks sharp and professional. One thing I might consider is getting rid of that menu and use the Menu Builder to build a menu.

But overall great job.
