How does one go about transferring a domain name to Sdrive if access to the registrar/Cname records is not available? I have a client who would like to be able to use her own domain name, but her former designer registered it under his own name.
He says we need to take care of everything from this end, but when the client tried to register an SDrive hosting account she got a message saying the name was already taken ('cause he took it!).
She opened an account under a different name, so what now? We just type in the domain name to transfer and it will magically work?
Will she be able to then register it under her name?

I think a lot of host will submit the request for transfer to the holding host and the person that has their name on it will get the request to release it.

If you want to transfer it to us, all we need is a EPP code (authorization code) and we can submit the transfer request. Typically takes about 3 business days to complete. Once it is transfered to us, you will have access then to these DNS records again through the S-Drive Dashboard.
