That link works fine for me here. I see the text "Hello".

I see the text 'Hello' also. That's not the problem. I'm just curious why the link Eric provided is not what comes up in IE10 when I click on it? Why does it change?

Of course, the original question remains...how many sub-dirs can you have on S-Drive? I cannot seem to create more than 3 sub-dirs under the root. Eric seems to be able to. My account is free. Is there a limit? Does a paid account let you go deeper? That's the original question that started this thread.

There are no limits on the number of sub-directories. How are you attempting to create these?

I am trying to create them by uploading (files and folders) from my PC (Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit) to my sdrive (free account) using CC Free FTP.

Here is a CC Free FTP screenshot that illustrate the issue of files not being uploaded.

Scott, what I did was create a small website. Then I created a directory about 6 sud-directories deep with a few graphics files. I used the Edit/Add Files to add those files to the website in the same directory (6 deep). Everything looked good. I then tried to publish from VSD to S-Drive. It uploaded the site but the graphics did not upload. It only created the first 3 sud-directories ( that were empty) then stopped. Never went far enough to upload the graphics. I really didn't play with it much, just did the quick test upload. I'll get back to this when I feel better.

Andrew, the only thing I can think of is to check your preferences and make sure you have checked the 'Passive Mode' box. Sometimes that makes a difference, sometimes not. Other than that, instead of publishing from DirectFTP have you tried to upload your files from VSD or the HTMLeditor?

That is something completely different with VSD. Every folder you add to VSD MUST contain a file. Empty folders are not included. Using the Dashboard or Direct FTP there are no issues. You can create as many sub-folders as needed.:

Passive Mode would not apply as that is only a setting for FTP profiles.

Scott,

I noticed that Gunsmoke was seeing a URL like the following:

http://sdrive-storage.s3.amazonaws.com/ … KchbEzI%3D

I have a user on my web site seeing a similar situation. The attached screen shot is what he reported.

The web site is http://omgc.coffeecup.com/

I do not see any such messages when I log in. Everything looks normal. Is this something I should be worried about?
