I have just edited every page on my web site and now want to upload the edited versions. When I upload the files they appear as (eg) index-1.html when there is already and index.html . Must I delete the original files before uploading the edited ones?
Sorry I'm very vague at the moment. Just had an 8 week old puppy after losing our lovely little corgi -and I'm worn out!!

Which app are you using? Sounds like you must be using direct ftp. Publishing to S-Drive should be pretty much bullet proof.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Now you've foxed me! The word 'novice' was invented for me! My files are all in S-drive, but now I want to upload all the re-edited files and they appear as (eg) index-1.html etc., while index.html etc. are still there. Then I choose 'sync with s-drive' but the wbsite stays the same.
Sorry I'm being obtuse - see the reason in my last post! :/

No, it doesn't get that far - it's just on s-drive storage. I've deleted all the '-1' files from there now, so am back to the original site! You'll have realised I don't really know what I'm doing. It's a case of trial and error!
I think I might leave things as they are until I'm not so tired!

Hi Rolly, I've been busy on my web site and think I know what to do now. I deleted the HOME and INDEX files from s-drive, then uploaded the re-edited files. And the new home and index pages are now online. http://augustaladyllanover.coffeecup.com
Is there a way of deleting multiple files? I have about 90 to do.
And is it possible to arrange the files in storage in alphabetical order?

No, What ever app your using to view the site will determine what order they appear in. It doesn't affect how the site looks.:)

It seems I must do each file separately then - it just takes patience! Thanks for your help.
