Sorry...should have read a previous post more closely. I now understand you have to have Shopping Cart Creator to add/change text. So you must have Shopping Cart Creator to use Shopping Cart Designer, correct?

Hiya Charlotte,

That would be a yes as the Shopping Cart Designer programs are made specifically for theming and editing the themes for the Shopping Cart Creator program. Without the Creator program there would be no use for the Designer :)

Oh, this would explain why I am pulling hair out of my head with my custom store in "Designer Pro", I have been trying for 2 days to change some of the text in the template, like in the "search" box and some of the text on the footer etc. So correct me if I am wrong, but after I am completely done with the design, artwork, layout, etc., I export and open it in "Creator Pro" then edit all of the text I have been wanting to change?

Yes, save your design in SCCD then import it into SCCP. Then you can enter all the text descriptions and such for your products. The text you see in SCCD is only filler text so you know what it will look like. It wont be there when you open it up in SCCP.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks for your reply Eric. I am still learning this software, but I am almost done with my custom design work. I have a few other issues I am still trying to figure out and how to integrate them into the SC. Like small javascripts and importing my CSV file of my inventory. Anyways, I assume since none of the filler text will be carried over that any logos, buttons, banners etc. that I have created in Photoshop/Illustrator containing text would not be editable in the creator. Which I am fine with, since I have already finalized those parts of the SC anyway in designer.

That's where you can replace the image with a new one of the same name but new design in your files on your pc. You won't have to open designer again to get a change in that area.

Keep in mind that one of the nice things about this software pair (Designer/Creator) is that whenever you want to change your theme you can do whatever you need to do and it doesn't affect your actual product setup of the shop. So that means....

If you want to do something different with your Logo later, you can go into the Designer, make whatever updates you want, import/export it to Creator, Choose the new theme or the edited theme, and you're all set it's all applied. There's no limit to what you can edit and change in the Designer and that gives you a whole lot of freedom without worrying about whether it was totally finished before you applied it to the shop. You can always edit it again if it's not. :)

This makes it nice for when yo want to see how it will really look on your shop even before it's done, you can apply it to the shop as many times as you like without hurting anything. :)

Good day,
I am using Coffeecup Shopping Cart Creator Pro for all my websites and I want to eliminate the "Product in" in the category. I want to put straight the product name without any "product in". Is this possible and how can I do that.
