Is it possible to add videos to CC'S shopping carts using the designer pro ?

I think I tried this in the past but don't really remember. But I would think it would be possible using an HTML block to embed the video. Should be doable.

You can do it in the SCCP.

In this example I embedded the file on its own page but the principle is the same. You would want to add an html box and insert your code.
