in the menu bars, a cool suggestion for upcoming versions.
Thanks !!!

you can add images to the menu items, as a background, or accent, would be interesting to try an icon as PNG text with a transparent background, but my trial version is expired, will have to wait for the "Event" to get my full copies.

here is how far I got.

I am putting my two cents in for this one.
I would like to be able to change ALL the icons that are associated with the menu items; as it is you can only change Home, Shop Home, Catergories, etc. You cannot change the ones associated with the pages that you add; they all get the same icon. Looks very bad on your webpage.

The 'fluid pages' or whatever it's called also gets my vote. It's annoying to have part of the page cut off on a smaller screen. Guess I got spoiled by the flexibility in Dreamweaver. Still, I'd rather use CC.:)

I admit...I left Shopping Cart Pro last Fall, but with the new version I'm back and really liking it! I converted my little site over the weekend and I had fun doing it. It is much easier to manage my site now, apply changes and I integrate with PayPal and Authorize.net which was a breeze. We feel like we have a site we can actually advertise now (except for our own stock photos, but that's a whole different story - it's not the tool, it's, well, hum, the photographer - or me!). BTW- I love the inventory tool.

I have one suggestion - add a MySQL database option and "view my order" or "order history" functionality. Save orders with the product name, price, shipping amount, shipping confirmation number, payment gateway name (PayPal/Authorize.net), customer name, address, email, country and phone number. We don't store credit card information, or credit card authorization transactions, in our company, but the customer could enter their email address & zip code to get their order history. If I knew how they made a purchase I could always go to PayPal, or Authorize.net, to get the details. It would be great for us to see who's buying what/where/how, so we could target our advertising, or product sales, more easily.

Thanks!

Hi,

I've been using Google Translate for some of the content in my Scandinavian shops, and I've been very impressed with it. I've tried lots of other translating software before, but this seems to be pretty good.

Now I wondered, if you would be good enough to put in a way to enter the Google Translate Element snippet in Shopping Cart Designer Pro, so people in other parts of the world can read the shop content in their own language?

You'll find it here:

<!-- Google Translate Element --> <div id="google_translate_element" style="display:block"></div><script> function googleTranslateElementInit() { new google.translate.TranslateElement({pageLanguage: "en"}, "google_translate_element"); };</script> <script src="http://translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js?cb=googleTranslateElementInit"></script>

Thank you very much.

It's a kind of magic!

Can't ya just put that code in the footer? I know you are able to enter code in the footer. I don't know about the header.

I would love to be able to have the category image backgrounds transparent. Unless I missed it. I cannot find a check box for that. I use png images, and the white box around it detracts from the design of the page.

I have used the "sold out" image option to show a "coming soon"

In a simular way, I would love to have a badge on some product, for example "new" or "sale"

Obviously I can't use the same method as when an item is in stock that image would not show. Maybe have something attached to the "featured products" :/
