Will it handle downloadable products and if we have to get the standard version in the meantime will there be the ability to upgrade at a reduced price?

Digital downloads is not a feature in Shopping Cart Creator Pro yet, but it will be in a future version. I am sure we will also offer some sort of discount when we officially release the software for all existing SCC users.
