Hi,
I was running outdated version of Shopping Cart Creator Pro.
Had all manor of PHP errors for version 5.4
Was advised to update software to latest version to fix problem.
Problem fixed, replaced by new problem.
I wonder if it is another server issue?
Here is the error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/sornlcou/public_html/shop/config.inc.php on line 93
Cheers,
Baz

Hi Eric,
It's this website:
http://www.sornel.co.uk
This is what comes up:
Server Configuration
Url to reach site : "www.sornel.co.uk".
Web server software: Apache
PHP seems to be installed as CGI.
Guest operating system: Linux.
PHP Version
OK - installed version of PHP on this server is: 5.4.31.
PHP Extensions
OK - found all PHP features needed to run the cart scripts.
Session Data
OK - successfully wrote and read session data.
Connectivity with PayPal
OK - successfully contacted the PayPal server.
Maximum Execution Time Allowed
OK - server allows scripts to run for 60 seconds.
File Structure
WARNING - File './checkoutans.cls.php' is significantly smaller than expected. This may not be a problem, test the functioning of your shop itself. This test is not reliable on servers that are not Linux/Unix (see test on PHP version if this may be the case).
Writable Directory Test
OK - the files and folders used for storing data exist and are writable.
Mail Configuration
OK - path to Sendmail is: /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i
Finished testing.
I have tried uploading as catalogue only, but still get the same error?
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/sornlcou/public_html/shop/config.inc.php on line 93

It's going from bad to worse.
I deleted the shop on the server, and tried to upload shop from scratch.
Now I get:
Error while uploading file on every file being uploaded.
I wonder if there is a fault with the shopping cart.
I can revert back to the previous version, use the PHP patch and just upload everytime
I update the shop.
This problem only came to light when the hosting company upgraded PHP.

The one thing I see is that your using the root of the site for the shop and it doesn't come up.
http://www.sornel.co.uk/index.php . It's actually here but I know the shop doesn't use index.html.

What did you enter for your publishing destination?

Hi Eric,
It's a right mess.
Shopping Cart Creator refuses to upload anything. Just locks up.
I have managed to upload shop via FTP.
Shop generated with latest software still has PHP fault I have updated with fix.
Paths to all images have gone adrift?
Everything seems unstable.

Cheers........

Did you try running Shopping Cart Creator as Administrator to see if that helps?

Hi Scott,
It now tries to upload shop.
When it gets to:
Checking dir: /public.html/shop/ccdata/store
it locks up.
I built this shop many years ago for a friend.
He popped around the other day with his computer
with a PHP problem with the old version of his cart.
Told him I don't mess with computers no more, but would
try and fix for him. I figured half an hour to download and install
updated shop............................that was 2 days ago.
I feel a migraine coming on........
Cheers, Baz.

So the problem looks to be either a connection or pc problem. Have you tried running CCleaner on your system?
