Whilst there are things that I think should be added to the program, SCC is great.

Here are two sites I've recently been working on.

1) http://www.raizwan.co.uk/ll - this is still under construction and the code (for the homepage) has been heavily customised.

2) http://www.airconoutlet.com - This client has just told me that the project has reached the end of it's life and he will not renew the hosting account...so the site will not be around in a few days.

nice clean looking site, but I suggest you up the contrast a little for the text you use in the various pages. The bold style shows up pretty well, but the regular text style is very pale against the white background which might make for strained reading for those with any visual problems. On the other hand, you have used a font size which does in part compensate for the low contrast.

Try to avoid using photographs with heavy shadow. It might mean taking out a portable light or torch...or even metal reflector on bright sunny days to brighten up the shadowed areas. Although I am pretty sure that your potential customers know what they are looking for and at...it would improve the overall quality of the images (which are already nice, bright) I think.

One last thing...it would seem better to have something on the PRODUCTS page rather than the little message. This could contain at least one item from each category (ie...use it as your categories page) rather than leaving it blank. It has no reason to exist the way it is IMHO.

All in all...nice, clean and simple. Easy to understand and your products are clearly displayed.

Here is an update to my shop/s, I have done lots more to it since my last post here. The problem with the horizontal scroll bar has been sorted - thanks to Eric for pointing that out.



As you will see, I have merged 4 (yes 4) shops together to create my "Heylis Cottage Gifts" site. Have a look here to see how I managed that. http://www.heylis.co.uk/

These are all hosted on S-Drive with the use of Shopping Cart Creator pro, Shopping Cart Designer pro, Web Image Studio Lite & Colour Schemer - some great software guys.

I would love to hear comments & suggestions from people out there.

I have had great fun using the software - well most of the time! I did have a few problems along the way. I would like to say a big thank you to the Coffeecup team, especaily Scott for all the help & support. This has been one reason why I decided to move my entire site to host on S-Drive - I certainly didn't get that with my old hosting company.

Glad to see everything is in order. Great looking site. I wish you success in your venture.

Sue... you did a great job of combining the stores too. Someone else was asking about that recently and yours is a fine example of how it can be achieved.
