I am sorry but I am still even more confused. ;( I have been trying to rack my brain around this for the past hour and I think I have been doing support too long today because I just can't see the issue. Maybe you can open a support ticket and zip all your files up and send them to me so I can see what is going on. Also, a few screen shots with some annotations on what you see and what you really wanted to see would really help.

OK, thanks. I'll open a support ticket tomorrow. I'm done for the night. Thanks.
OK, so TODAY everything looks right. So there will be no support ticket. I'm starting to lose it here, but nothing I did yesterday worked, both categories only showed up after I clicked on show products. So this morning I unclicked show products, reposted and Shazammm it looked like it was supposed to. I'm done. I'm gonna go crawl back under my rock and keep typing inventory in.....
Here's my site, looking good (IMHO) and being updated almost constantly today. Lots of inventory to add yet. What's YOUR opinion? And remember, I don't have Designer yet, so tweaking isn't an option.

I bet if you had a couple of browsers on your computer you would see your website worked right yesterday. Some times a browser won't reload the webpage and just keeps showing the last download. To make sure my site looks good for everyone I installed Safari, Google Chrome and FireFox and the problems with Internet Explorer showup. So far I have the most trouble with Internet Explorer showing blank spaces and not updatting the page.
I don't work for CC and don't get any thing for product sales. But If you had the Designer Pro you could resize the image canvas a little closer to your image size. And, you could center things up a little better as welll.
Your site looks great to be using a raw templete, Good job.
Thanks. I did use Google Chrome and IE8 and they both showed the same thing, though spaced differently. I like the way Chrome shows the website better on my laptop, it spreads it out to fill up the screen properly, where IE8 kinda condensed everything into the center. I'm gonna load the other browsers later so I can see what they look like there too. Thanks again, for looking. Designer should get worked into the budget in a couple weeks:D
As Dr Thompson used to say... "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro". Well I turned Pro a few days ago (Shopping Cart Creator Pro that is)
I am very proud to launch my Pro shop/site. Considering that I am a complete web design novice with no one to turn to except Scott and the CC team, I pretty pleased with the result. The whole website was built with Coffeecup programs.
All I need to do now is get my head around the Live Chat and Site mapping and I'll be happy as a pig in mud.
I hope you like it, it's a huge site.

Hi,
Well I've been a trial user of SCC and now upgraded to Pro and launched the site.
Hopefully it will all hang together - I'm using inventory control with PayPal but have yet to test it.
No issues at all migrating to Pro and updating the site.
Here it is:-
beadsnbracelets.com.au
I haven't purchased Designer Pro yet so just using a basic template - but its on the list of things to do.
Hope to catch some of you guys in the forums.
Cheers,
Anthony

Still messing around with the Pro programme, but here is what I have put online as a starter. Still way to go both with the product content and the actual site content too. My main aim is to get a basic design that I like and can then implement that into other pages outside the store page limit.

Anthony... I see we seem to be following a common route though I reckon I am in a better position to get hold of Murano glass than you are! Those beads are real pretty.

Hi Janys,
I like the look of your site. You have obviously been using Designer Pro. Looks really slick.
For the moment I took the easy way out and just migrated a standard template from Basic to Pro. Just added the inventory control. When I get time I'll play around and try to customise a more suitable template.
Yep, the bead/jewellelry route appears to be quite common. My wife loves this type of bling and at the moment its really more of a hobby than any sort of money making business.
Good luck with the site.
Cheers,
Anthony

I got lazy and did not put them on all pages.
I Just copy and paste from a word editor like MS Word or my other website.

How did you get the bullet points in the description? I like that. I'm downloading updates atm, so I can't get into SCD or SCCP. But looking now, I think your bullet points are gone. I'm sure I saw them on your site.

Sorry for the late post on this. I've been busy with my site, finding new features all over the place.
Thanks for the information cawoodwilly. I will put that on my "To Do" list.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
