OK. The cause of the delay has now been identified. The rumour is that someone at Coffeecup HQ decided to assign the task of writing the documentation to one of the programmers.

lol,, that's what keeps me busy over at Drupal.org, re-writing all the developers' text in module settings, readme files and instructional handbook pages. Most users just don't understand that stuff.

just logged in to download scc pro and to my amazement it still has not been released. Its been about 6 months since it was reported that it was getting close so I just expected it to be well out by now. I see that 3 weeks or so ago it was reported that the software itself has been completed so its gotta be here soon. Does anyone have any sort of info or should i give it another couple of months? Thanks all..

I've heard a rumour thats its "this" close.

I reckon we will all get an email from Scott when its released
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

The folks on here have been incredibly patient, so I'm hoping that someone puts down their coffee cups, shakes their feathers and gets the product out on the streets soon. :)

As one of the handful of folks that have had access to the pro version for over five months now, it's a neat, easy to use but well featured program that is going to make many folks lives far easier. By the same token however, I'd hate to see folks moving away to other solutions due to the extended delay, as they'll miss out on a real gem of an ecommerce program.

Another classic dialog:

"....
'Perhaps,' she said. 'But when can we go to Laitokitok together?'
'Soon.'
'Soon is no good,' she said.
'It's all I have.'
'When will you come to drink beer in the evening?'
'Soon.'
'I hate soon. You and soon are lying brothers.'
'Then neither of us will come.'
'You come and bring soon too.'
'I will.'
....."

Very well said. I agree with this analysis.
The philosopher has not done philosophy until he has acted upon the mere conviction of his idea; for proof of the theory is in the act, not the idea.
