Tom, way off-topic (OT), what is your avatar. It kind of looks like the planet Earth inside a red sphere with horns. Interesting.....Back to doing dishes and sorting / making jewelry for next week's market.
It is the FreeBSD Daemon, the logo for the FreeBSD OS.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
Thanks Tom, and here I thought it was a play on the words Hell on Earth. I looked up FreeBSD on Google, way above my 1990s 4GL brain.
Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the info.
This is for those who want people to stop asking about SCC Pro.
Businesses love it when people are begging, pleading and constantly asking
about a product that is in the process of being released. It shows a very strong
interest in that product i.e. Nice Product and Profits. Take my word for it, they love it.
If people are constantly asking about SCC Pro and it is bothering anyone at
CoffeeCup, then they should close their doors.

What folks need to appreciate, is that Coffeecup is a commercial enterprise. They make their money by selling software.
Until the pro version is released for sale, there is no return on the massive amount of development time that has gone into the project, so there is no 'hidden agenda' behind the delayed release of the pro version. The delays have purely been down to developing and refining the product even further to create a class leading ecommerce solution.
I have been directly involved with the pro version since December last year and like other folks involved with the testing, I have forcefully put forward ideas to make the product more suited for commercial enterprise. Being in business myself and making the bulk of my income from online trading, it was important that the pro version was able to perform in a serious business environment, rather than relying on a programmer's concept of what they think business is about. The team at Coffeecup took on board all the feedback from the test team and from requests in the forums. I personally can't think of any other software house that would interact with customers like that. Just be patient for a little while longer and you'll have a product that will give you signifcant advantages over the competition.

Will, do you have a cart that you built with SCC Pro and would you be willing to let us view it?
Thanks
Thanks
It Hurts soooooooooooooooooo bad to wait. Its like being a kid and Christmas is still a week away. The gifts are just taunting you under that tree.... Arggggg
I have built several shops with the pro version Sally and despite its extra features, it is still quick and easy to use. Everything you have stated you'd like in previous posts is in there.
None of my pro shops are currently live until the pro version is fomally released and are all currently powered by my 'other' cart software.
If you want to see a live shop using pro go to http://swag.coffeecup.com/ That is only a basic example, but does give you an idea of the front end.

I was complementing CoffeeCup and defending those who are anxious for the release of SCC Pro.
Baby steps!!!!
No way that would only dilute resource for the pro version
Be patient let CC concentrate on getting pro ready
Thank you for that kind post Ambassador Butler. I see by the comment below your links that your websites are all created with Coffee Cup html editor. Do you have a shopping cart with lots of items? Here's what I created years ago using cuteSITEbuilder:
http://www.universal-expressions.com/.
Lots of work trying to force a website builder into a cart format and lots of PayPal snippets. No search feature or shipping discount, however, I was able to create sub-categories and an item identifier. I planned to delete universal-expressions once SCC Pro is available. Rather than killing it perhaps I should consider updating universal-expressions and trying to incorporate CC Flash Search. And then actually promoting it. I barely maintain it other than to remove the PayPal code and say Sorry-Sold. Even so every now and then someone finds their way to it and buys something.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
